Ask your MP to support our campaign to end carer poverty

New Carers UK research shows that 1.2 million unpaid carers are now living in poverty, with a further 400,000 carers living in deep poverty - meaning they are living on an income at least 50% below the poverty line.

This is absolutely unacceptable. We need urgent targeted action from the Government to bring as many unpaid carers out of poverty and put them on a stable financial footing.

The Carer Poverty Coalition is looking to raise awareness of carer-poverty and the financial difficulties that carers face with as many MPs as possible. In turn, we want them to put pressure on the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves MP, and call for her to provide more financial support for carers in the Government's upcoming Autumn Budget.
